  1. Amazon Software Development Engineer Intern

    May 2022 – August 2022

    • Sped up dependency checking from 24 hours to 10 minutes allowing Amazon employees to deploy code faster

    • Initialized workers with limited IAM access using Java Spring that update DynamoDB table with dependencies

    • Used AWS KMS secret manager tokens to send notifications and update dashboard on new availabilities/delays of critical dependencies for all Amazon employees to access

  2. ManTech Machine Learning Intern

    June 2021 – August 2021

    • Performed dimension reduction in Python using custom Hilbert space-filling curve algorithm

    • Flagged files containing viruses using a TensorFlow deep learning model to alert employees of security threats

    • Visualized clusters of viruses from existing directories using D3.js for proactive threat monitoring by defense team

  3. ManTech Software Development Intern

    June 2020 – August 2020

    • Created and deployed an inventory management system in Python for employees to track company equipment

    • Performed digital forensics in C lang to identify and prevent security vulnerabilities of customers’ systems

  4. Google Code-in Winner/Judge

    August 2017 – January 2020

    • First Place Winner out of 4,000 entrants of Google Code-In, Google’s international programming competition

    • Judged Google’s computer science international coding competition, after winning the prior year

    • Wrote new problems for students to complete and provided debugging and code feedback

  5. Liquid Galaxy Software Development Intern

    May 2018 – August 2018

    • Developed an NLP model that interprets user’s voice commands and stores them in Firebase database (DB)

    • Built Bash script that reads voice commands from DB and executes them

Projects

  1. AntiBiasBot Website

    React, Selenium, Beautiful Soup, TensorFlow, Dynamo DB, Flask

    • Displayed news articles from different ends of the political spectrum, on the same topic to prevent readers from getting all their news from partisan sources

    • Scraped news articles using LDA and K-Means to detect article topic and political bias

    • Stored articles and metadata in NoSQL DB, and is accessed in Flask endpoint calls from the frontend

  2. Posture Detection App

    OpenCV, TensorFlow, Haar Cascade, Win10Toast

    • Calculates user’s sitting posture using computer vision model from webcam footage

    • Notifies user of bad posture, helping correct bad posture habits and prevent future chronic back issues

    • Visualized clusters of viruses from existing directories using D3.js for proactive threat monitoring by defense team

  3. Generating Electricity by Walking

    Inventor, Arduino, NumPy, Pandas, TensorFlow, Keras

    • Built a shoe that captures the mechanical energy produced from each step and converts it into electricity

    • Shoe recognizes walking/running patterns to enable more accurate fitness tracking

  4. Chess Tracker

    • Created a webapp that tracks game statistics of my chess matches

    • Front End with react, and Backend with Firebase and Google Auth
